I would like to welcome you all to India and give you a little brief about Escapade Adventures & Holidays Private Ltd. After graduating in Electronics in 1993, I decided to look for something different for a profession and zeroed in on adventures & travel business as the best thing that I would do as it was not only a hobby but also a passion for me.
After working with different travel companies I decided to start on my own in 1998 and Escapade was Launched as a small one man army. Over the years we have grown into a full fledged Private Ltd. company with our own offices in Haridwar & Gurgaon ( Delhi ) and a network of associate offices around India Including Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Sikkim, Mumbai, Varanasi, Kolkata, Srinagar, Amritsar etc. within India and in Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Srilanka & Tibet in Indian Subcontinent.
Through our Network we provide the best Indian Hospitality to our guests all over Indian subcontinent and we can be your one point contact for all your requirements for tour of India. Our Team
Sanjay Saini (Director)
Sanjay Saini, a hard core adventure professional, Mountain climber & wild life enthusiast by choice is also an electronics Engineer. Sanjay excelled in sports at National Level in Badminton. He is also pursuing his study trips to jungle for behavioral study on wild Asian Elephants.
All these adventures have helped him in evolving as a facilitator for understanding the need for team work and self belief. Started working on behavioral developmental programs for schools with Mayo College ( Ajmer ) and then Welham Girls High School ( Dehradun ) in 1999 and then got into corporate OBL workshops two years later. Picked up adventure sports as profession in 1995 and has evolved as an OBL trainer over last five years. Has been working with varied list of MNCs and various prestigious schools across north India.
Running his adventure company Escapade Adventures & Holidays Pvt. Ltd. As Director operations since 1998, Sanjay has to his credit the successful climb of Mt. Kedardome ( 21430 ft. ), Stok Kangri ( 20,205 ft ) and Mt. Rudra Gaira ( 19,091 ft ) in Indian Himalaya, a cycling expedition across North India for 2000 kms in 15 days and have extensively trekked over last 15 years in North Indian Himalayas of Ladakh, Himachal and Uttaranchal.
Have also handled the launch of “All Terrain Vehicles” in India for Hero motors, involved in trial and Demo runs of the vehicle for Indian Army in Jaiselmer and Ladakh region. Writing Urdu Poetry and photography are other two interests that make Sanjay’s profile complete as an adventurist.
Partha Pratim Saha (Partho)
One of the few who not only started white water rafting in India in late eighties, Partho has also spent more than twenty years of his prime youth in establishing rafting as the most popular adventure sport in the country. Being one of the Key figures in rafting circles Partho has runs on almost all the important rivers in the world as part of Indian rafting team under his belt and he is one of five most experienced rafters in the country. A great eco tourism enthusiast Partho will always be a delight to be with on the river expeditions with his stories told in his own style making it more entertaining.
Neeti Bhalla Saini
The heart of the organization is also the sweetheart of Sanjay and keeps everyone on his toes while performing. The mother of a son is an integral part of the TEAM ESCAPADE. Combines with her hubby to make perfect duo of hosts, she is another delight to be with.
Neeti is also a great cook and takes pleasure in teaching our guests the cooking classes for north Indian cuisine. She also loves to chat and eat with anyone and everyone.
Sunil Ahuja (Manager operations)
MBA in Marketing. Sunil Ahuja is the driving force behind the tour operations and overseas agent handling that Escapade does. Responsible for handling the operations and down line teams is his forte. Has been in the field for over 5 years and is also the integral part of all our planning.
Pinto Wangchuk (Manager Resourcing & Info. processing)
Pinto the oldest member of our core team is a specialist in tours to Ladakh. Being born and brought up in Leh, Ladakh is the back yard for him and the Itineraries planned by him are actually there on most of the Indian web sites on Ladakh. An expert with designing and art on computer he is also responsible for most of our presentations.
Harpreet Singh (Manager tours and camping)
Harpreet is responsible for handling the operations of all adventure tours in mountains including Ladakh, Uttaranchal, Himachal & Sikkim. He is also responsible for handling the camping operations and logistics for Camp Hammock (The camping Division of Escapade adventures and holidays Pvt. Ltd.)
Bhanu Pakhrin Manager Operations Sikkim
Bhanu is a native of Sikkim and he is also our associate for operations in Sikkim.
Virender Singh Manager Operations Himachal
Virender is a native of Manali ( Himamchal Pradesh ) and he is also our associate for operations in HImachal. Virender is an expert angler himself and loves to go for Himalayan trout fishing.
Vijyendra (Instructor Yoga & Meditation)
Vijyendra is a native of Rishikesh and he is also our resident manager for Camp – Hammock at New Tehri in Uttarakhand.
Vijyendra is an undergraduate in Yoga and meditation from University of Gurukul Kangri In Haridwar.
Udit Bhalla (Portal Research and Website Development)
The newest member of the organization, Udit is responsible for the development of the Adventure travel portal and content development of the websites of the company. He works in tandem with the web developers to create and develop the websites.
