Nagtibba Trek

Destionations: Rishikesh - Pantwari - Nagtibba - Devalsari - Rishikesh.
Nagtibba, as the name suggests is the abode of the Nag Devta. The shepherds of the Aglar Valley on the northside of Mussoorie hills, known as Jaunpur, come to this ridge top to worship the Nag Devta. Nagtibba offers an excellent view of the mountain peaks in all directions. To reach the top one has to pass through dense forest, and it is advisable to take a guide, lest you get lost on the way.
There is enough space for camping in the meadow, and the water source is nearby. Nagtibba can be climbed from two sides. Most trekkers prefer the Pantwari side, which is a beautiful village symbolizing the culture of Jaunpur. From here begins the climb to the Nagtibba top. You can get down on the other side, to the village of Devalsari. From here the road head at Thatyur is not far away. One can also take the trek in the reverse direction, climbing from Thatyur and coming down at Pantwari.

Day 1: (Rishikesh, Garhwal Himalayas India)
Arrive Rishikesh. Meet our representative. Trek starts. Dinner & overnight in Rishikesh.
Day 2: (Pantwari)
Drive to Pantwari 135 kms via Mussoorie with lunch en route. Dinner & overnight in Pantwari.
Day 3: (Nagtibba)
On day 3, we undertake a 10-km trek to Nagtibba with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Nagtibba.
Day 4: (Nagtibba)
3 kms trek to Nagtibba Top with packed lunch. In the evening, 3 km return trek to camp site. Dinner & overnight in Nagtibba.
Day 5: (Devalsari)
16 kms trek to Devalsari with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Devalsari.
Day 6: (Rishikesh, Garhwal Himalayas India)
8 kms trek to Thatyur with packed lunch. Further 115 kms drive to Rishikesh via Mussoorie & Dehradun. Arrival Rishikesh. Trek concludes.
