Another “off the beaten trek” of Ladakh this trek also like many ends at the famous high altitude lake; Tso Moriri but it traverses through the most fascinating and remote area of Rupshu which was until recent times forbidden to visit by foreigners or even Indians without a proper and special permit. This is a tough and challenging trek and needs lots of preparation. The trekking team is usually bigger in size. One can add up the famous peak called Kangyatse (6400 Mt.) to climb with few extra days also. All the camp sites are pre defined and mostly near a source of water. It also passes through the Tso Kar lake and you will find lots of hot springs famous for its medicinal property due to presence of concentrated minerals etc
