This two weeks tour to Ladakh takes you through Markha Valley which is one of
the most visited trek route in Ladakh region. Its a must for every trekker comming
to Ladkah and provide some of the best views of High Himalayan and Karakoram
Ranges along with the greatest of the nomadic experiences in the Markha Valley
area. One crosses the heights of upto 4500 mts on the high points and Markha
Valley trek and the average altitude also remains above 3500 mts through the
trek. Wanla, Konzekla give a grand panoramic view and makes this trek a paradise
for all those want to be in the mountains for the obvious reason of being with
the mother nature at its best.

it takes you to Alchi, Lamayuru & Hemis monasteries which are also the oldest
and the most beautifull monastries in Ladakh region apart from taking you around

Lamayuru to Stok

The tour starts in Delhi and one has the option of traveling by Air from Delhi
to Leh in Ladakh or can also travel by Road through one of the highest motorable
roads in the world, while crossing the second highest motorable in the world
at Tang Langla at 17500 ft. One gets the opportunity to see the budhist culture
at its best in Ladakh with some of the monasteries dating back to more than
1000 yrs. With first two days spent in and around Leh getting used to high altitude,
This trek takes us along the moonlandscape of ladakh in Lamayuru, located 125
kms to the west of Leh at an altitude of 3600 mts.
Traveling through Indus valley along the Indus river itself in Ladakh, This
journey is one of the most enchanting one. On arrival in Lamayuru we visit the
monastery before commencing the trek. The trail passes through Wanla pass over
Pritinkla (3800 m) and then to Hinju valley, again over Konzkela (4950 mts),
into chilling over Dundunchen la (4800 m) and then to crafts men village. This
village in Ladakh is famous for its carfts work. Local people make things like
Ladles, Tchang pot, Tea pot out of copper and silver jewelery. After this we
follow the Zanskar river and crossing by cable car to Shingo. While passing
through beautiful valley of Rumbak we visit Rumbak Gompa, Stok and then drive
back to Leh. 4-7 hours walk every day, requires good physique.

Trek
Lamayuru to Alchi
Places : Wanla,Urshi,Mangyu,Gera, Alchi
Season : June to Oct
Duration : Trek 5 days

Same route till Wanla as Lamayuru to Stok trek. After Wanla We will leave to
Urshi by the bank of Yapola river over Penjila, explore the village, which has
a beautiful campsite, after that we climb Tarla (5250 mts) and again descend
to the beautiful village of Mangyu. Here we camp near the stream and next morning
leave towards Gera and then on to Alchi, which is famous for the oldest monastery
of Ladakh built in 11th century. After the Alchi monastery visit we drive back
to Leh town which is the capitol of Ladakh.
Lamayuru to Markha
Places
: Chilling, Chaluk Village, Tchatchutse, Humling monastery, Hanker village,
Nimaling, Shang

Duration : 11 Days trek

This trek also follows the same route till chilling village as Lamayuru to Stok
trek , than we divert towards the Markha valley to Skiu village for a green
camping ground, as we will cross the bridge, mountain-scape changes into barren
plain. Pass the barren plain and arrive Chaluk village with few houses, beautiful
camping of Markha village. Trail goes via Tchatchutse, we will visit Humling
monastery, Hanker village with few houses. Arrive Nimaling (4700 mts), most
beautiful campsite on the foot of Kangyatse Peak (6400 mts), one can climb Kangyatse
west (6200 mts) but it requires moderate climbing gear and climbing skills as
well. Finally an easy climb to Kongmarula (5150 mts) takes us to the highest
point of the trek for a grand panoramic view of High ranges and then we arrive
at Shang to further go on easy walk till Hemis to end this trek. After the visit
to Hemis Monastey which is about 500 yrs old and also is the biggest monastery
of Ladakh we proceed on to Leh to end the tour.
Tsomoriri to Kibber Trek

Leh - Ladakh Tours
This trek starts from the Famous village of Korzok ( which also known as Nomadic
headquarters of Ladakh), near the Tsomoriri Lake around 240 Kms. From Leh The
capitol of Ladakh. It heads towards south-east along the lake and then turns
towards south and walk along the Parangchu river. After crossing the Parang-la
pass and then walking on the Glacier for 03 hours, you enter the beautifull
Spiti valley. The trek finishes at Kibber village and then we drive to Kaza
the headquarter of Spiti also known as mini Ladakh.
One has the option of either driving back through Manali or through Kinnaur
to get a diverse exposure to the culture of High Himalayan Life in the regions
of Ladakh, Spiti and Kinnaur or Manali in Himachal pradesh. A great experience
for all those who want to see the Himalayas untouched and in their original
forms ever witnessed by human beings.
