Wildlife Tour of India

India is a rich country in terms of wildlife patches and its diversity has encouraged the flourishing of a whole range of wildlife with over 350 species of mammals and 1200 species of birds in the country. While there is an overlap in the habitats of many species, each region has something special to offer. Two of India's most impressive animals, the Indian Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant are found in most regions. The tiger originated in Central Asia and migrated over the great Himalayas to the dense tropical forests, adapting itself well to the plains .A herd of elephants in the wild is a breath taking sight. These huge mammals are respected by all animals, including the Tiger. Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport meet the representative of the company and transfer you to the hotel for check in and overnight stay.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After a leisurely breakfast go for a sightseeing tour of Delhi where the historic buildings recall the days of the British empire. Visit  the 11th century Qutab Minar ,India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House , Red fort , Mahatama Gandhi Memorial. Also visit the lotus temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (257 kms / 5 hrs drive)
After early breakfast drive to the pink city of Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Later sightseeing of Jaipur city visiting Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds(This five storied building which looks out over the main street of the old city is one of Jaipur's major landmarks.) Jantar Mantar - The Observatory (The Observatory, built by Raja Jai Singh in1728) and City Palace Museum (City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture). Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur
After breakfast visiy Amer Fort (Situated atop the Aravali hills Ameris the ancient capital of Jaipur and a magnificent example of Rajput architecture). Later in the day visit the Jaigarh Fort (Overlooking the Moata Lake and dating back to the 11th century, to see the world's biggest cannon. Evening free to explore the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Ranthanbore ( 190 kms / 04 hrs drive)
After early breakfast drive to Ranthabore. On arrival to Ranthanbore check in at hotel/resort. In the evening go for an elephant safari to spot tiger and animals in the wilderness. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 06 : Rantahnbore - Bharatpur ( 335 kms / 07 hrs drive)
After early breakfast drive to Bharatpur (Asia largest bird sanctuary known for its variety of birds from all around the world). On arrival check into the hotel/resort. In the evening visit the jungle on Rikshaws to view the birds in their natural undisturbed habitat, feeding and tenting their young. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 07 : Bharatpur - Agra ( 60 kms / 1 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast drive Agra. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (The desert capital of Moghuls and forbidden city built by emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son Jahangir). On arrival to Agra check into the hotel. After lunch go for a guided tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort, Sikandra Fort and the unforgettable TAJ MAHAL ( 7th wonder of the world and perhaps the most beautiful monument ever built in the history, for love. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shahjah in sweet memories of his beloved Mumtaj). Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Agra - Orchha
After breakfast leave for orchha. On arrival check in to hotel. Visit the magnificent Orchha Fort . Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Orchha - Khajuraho
Morning breakfast drive to Khajuraho. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free at leisure. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 10 : Khajuraho
After breakfast go for a full day guided tour of Western and Eastern Group of world famous Chandela Temples. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Khajuraho –Banhavgarh (240 kms / 05 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh. On arrival transfer to hotel/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 12 : Bandavgarh
After breakfast go for a jungle safari and come back to the hotel/resort for lunch. After lunch go for an elephant safari in the other part of the national park. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 13 : Bandavgarh - Kanha ( 325 kms / 07 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Kanha. On arrival transfer to hotel/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 14 : Kanha National Park
After breakfast a full day of Jungle activities into the wildlife sanctuary. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 15 : Kanha - Nagpur (300 kms. / 6 hrs. drive)
After breakfast Elephant/Jeep safari into the jungle to view early morning activities of Indian Swamp, Deer, Black buck, Indian Bison, Leopard, Tigerand other animals. In the afternoon drive to Nagpur for overnight stay.

Day 16 : Nagpur - Mumbai ( Flight )
After breakfast in the hotel the rest of the day will be fee for leisure and other personal activities. In the evening transfer to the airport to board flight to Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17 : Mumbai Sightseeing
After breakfast go for a half-day tour of Gateway of India (This symbolic national landmark, the Marble arch of India, designed by George Wittet to commemorate the visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911. It was also the point of exit for the last British regiment to leave India). Later tour to Elephanta Caves by motor boat (These 7th century rock - cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are situated on the top a hill on the island). Also visit Princes of Wales Museum In the evening drive through the beautiful Marine Drive with ever lasting memories of the day. Overnight at hotel.

Day 18 : Mumbai
After Breakfast transfer to the international airport to connect your flight to onward destination.

Day 01 - Delhi :
On arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Delhi :
Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 - Delhi - Varanasi :
Morning transfer to airport to take flight for Varanasi. On arrival in Varanasi transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 - Varanasi - Khajuraho :
Early morning boat ride on the river Ganges. After that go for the city tour. Later transfer to airport to take flight for Khajuraho. On arrival in Khajuraho transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh :
Morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples. Later travel by road to Bandhavgarh. Check in at jungle lodge. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 06 - Bandhavgarh :
After breakfast go for a jungle safari and come back to the hotel/resort for lunch. After lunch go for an elephant safari in the other part of the national park. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 07 - Bandhavgarh - Kanha :
After breakfast drive to Kanha. On arrival transfer to hotel/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 08 - Kanha :
Morning and evening game rides in the jungle. Overnight at lodge.

Day 09 - Kanha - Agra :
Drive to Jabalpur railway station to take overnight train to Agra. Overnight in train.

Day 10 - Agra :
On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon, half day seeing tour of Agra city visiting the world famous Taj Mahal. One of the wonders of the world -- a monument of love created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and perhaps the most perfect architectural monument of the world, The Red fort -- a testament to the rise and fall of the Mughal empire built by Emperor Akbar in red sand stone over 400 years ago. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 - Agra - Jaipur :
Early morning depart for Jaipur, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar approximately 35 kms outside Agra. Built in the 16th century, this city was abandoned 12 years later due to a scarcity of water. The entire city of Red sand stone (sand stone palaces and temples) is virtually intact and a site worth seeing is the 54 m high main entrance. The Buland Darwaza, The gate of victory constructed to commemorate Akbar's victory in Gujarat. On arrival in Jaipur check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 - Jaipur :
Full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur -- the pink city takes you to the Hawa Mahal -- The Palace of Winds, the facade of which is all pink windows and filigree screens, The Jantar Mantar -- the largest and best preserved 18th century stone observatory, The City Palace --still the home of the former royalty H.H Bhawani Singh Ji of Jaipur housing an extensive collection of art, carpets and old weapons. Also visit to Amber Fort, situated 11 kms away from Jaipur, Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur state. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside & overlooking a lake, which reflects it's terraces & ramparts. The climb to the fort is on gaily-bedecked Elephants. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 - Jaipur - Delhi : Drive to Delhi International airport to take flight for the onward destination.
