Day 01 : Delhi-Uttarkashi (380Km, Drive 8-9hrs)
Drive early morning from Delhi to Uttarkashi, a district headquarter in the
upper section of Bhagirathi valley at an altitude of 3000 ft, with
Bhagirathi River flowing through the town. Stop enroute at Haridwar for
lunch. Check in hotel Shiv Linga on arrival in the evening. Relax and
prepare for next days trek. Overnight at hotel Shiv Linga right next to the
River.
Day
02 : Uttarkashi-Agoda ( 17 kms drive, 5 km t
Drive to Kalyani (the road head) 17 kms away and then start the trek (5kms,
2-3hrs). After a gradual climb arrive at the camp. Enjoy the evening in the
beautiful surroundings at (7000ft). Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 03 : Agoda-Dodital (15kms, 6-8HRS)
After breakfast start the day on trek to reach Dodital. A high altitude
lake at 10,900ft with crystal clear water and surrounded by the thick forest
of alpine trees and inhabited by great Himalayan Trout, is a delight for
anglers as well as nature lovers. ( A permit is required for fishing in the
lake). Surrounded by mountains, the lake is a paradise to be at and its
peace and tranquility adds to the beauty. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 04 : Dodital
Spend the day fishing or just hiking in the forest. This region is
inhabited with rare wild life including the snow leopard, snow fox, Monal
etc. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day
05 : Dodital-Agoda (15kms, 6-8hrs)
Return to Agoda on the same route and camp overnight.
Day 06 : Agaoda-Chamba (6-8 hrs)
Trek down to Kalyani to end the tryst with mountains and drive back to
Uttarkashi for lunch. Drive to Chamba in the afternoon to check in to hotel
Classic Hill Top. Chamba is situated at 5500ft high ridge. It is a small
town, which provides breathtaking views of the High Himalayas and fabulous
sunrise and sunset. Enroute one can visit the construction site of Asias
largest Mud Dam being built in Tehri Garhwal. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Classic Hill Top.
Day 07 : Chamba-Haridwar (95kms, 3-4hrs)
Drive to Haridwar and check in to hotel Classic Residency on arrival. Visit
Har ki pauri on the banks of The Ganges, the sacred river. Also the venue
for the Mahakumbh, this place is one of the most sacred places in the Hindu
religion. The daily prayers on the banks of The Ganges (Ganga) are performed
in the evening which is a wonderful sight and provides an opportunity to
catch a glimpse of the rich Indian culture. Overnight at the hotel Classic
Residency.
Day 08 : Haridwar-Delhi (200kms, 5hrs)
Drive back to Delhi. End of our arrangements.

Day
01 : Delhi-Rishikesh ( 230km, Drive 6hrs )
Drive to Rishikesh and check in to hotel Natraj on arrival. Relax or take a
wildlife safari in the evening to Rajaji National park which boasts of
wildlife including big Cats, Elephants, Antelope, Wild boar and a variety of
birds. Overnight at hotel Natraj.
Day 02 : Rishikesh-Chopta (180kms, 6-7hrs )
Drive to Chopta, which is one of the most beautiful spots in this part of
the Himalayas passing through lush green landscapes, often remarked as Mini
Switzerland, stretching almost 40 kms. It is an ideal example of
environmental conservation, where all construction is banned for the cause.
Apart from humans it is also inhabited by rare Himalayan species like the
Snow Leopard, Musk deer, snow fox, Monal etc. Altitude varies from 6000 ft
to 13,000 ft, Put up camp on arrival and relax in the evening. Dinner and
overnight at Camp.
Day 03 : Chopta-Deoriatal ( 20kms drive, 6km trek)
Drive to sari village in 1hr and then trek to Deoriatal which is a lake at
a high altitude of 5000ft with a lovely view of the 23,000ft high Chaukhamba
peaks. Return to Chopta in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day
04 : Chopta-Tungnath (7kms, 4-5hrs)
Start the trek in the morning on a steep climb of 3.5kms to reach 1,000 yr.
old Tunganath temple. Go further up half a kilometer to almost 13,000ft for
the most breathtaking view of the high Himalayas from Chandrashila Peak.
Come down to Chopta in the afternoon. Evening at leisure. Dinner and
overnight at Camp. All this while, when you are in and around Chopta, keep
looking for the elusive snow-leopard, a rear sight for the lucky ones.
Day 05 : Chopta-Haridwar (210kms 7-8hrs)
Drive back to Haridwar, which is the holiest town in the Hindu religion.
Enroute visit Devprayag, the confluence of Rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda,
which combine to become the holy Ganges at this point. Check in on arrival.
Overnight at hotel Classic Residency.
Day 06 : Haridwar
Spend the day in exploring the traditions and cultures of India on the
banks of the holy river Ganges. Overnight at hotel Classic Residency.
Day 07 : Haridwar-Delhi (200kms, 5 hrs)
Drive back to Delhi to end the tour.
